Political Gaslighting and Two-Tier Politics

Remeber when George Floyd, the criminal, died at the hand of a police officer in the USA. There was outrage and fury. It was shared by UK Labour politicians.

But, as usual, as after the Manchester Arena Islamic suicide terrorist bombing (“Don’t look back in anger), and now, with Henry Nowak’s murder, we are supposed to react quietly.

In spite of the protest that included some violence against the police, we DO react quietly – with pure cold rage:

Apparently, that’s not enough. This is using Nowak for political capital, according to Two-Tier Kier. I have never seen anyone politically milk the quiet response from Henry Nowak’s fatehr as much as Starmer has.

It’s not just politicians trying to play this down when they were outraged at the George Floyd killing.

This is pure gaslighting from Peston. Farage expressed his opinion of the dignified response of Nowak’s father, so to suggest it means nothing to Farage is a dishonest twisting of the narrative – nothing new there.

The feelings of the Nowaks understandable (we don’t know whether they were persuaded to tone their message as they did, as others have been).

But, they are not arbiters of politics. Thought they have suffered the worst of UK racially biased policing, others have too. The Southport killings were also a direct softly-softly response of police. It keeps happening.

And, a reminder again, that Starmer has milked the family’s message, politically! To attack Farage. There has been an insane “Stop Reform” political agenda, and dirty tricks going on for years. Of course they are using Nowak’s message for political gain themselves.

Cold Rage vs Hot Rage

So, what is Farage’s “cold rage“: A person experiencing cold rage after a tragedy might: Become highly determined rather than visibly emotional; Speak calmly but intensely; Methodically pursue legal action; Dedicate their life to exposing wrongdoing.

Hot rage is what most people think of as anger: Intense emotional arousal; Shouting, swearing, crying, or aggressive behaviour; Impulsive actions; Loss of self-control; Scream at those responsible; Demand immediate revenge; Act recklessly.

Where have we seen hot rage before? And it’s in response to THIS we should be quiet.

Support The Sikh Community

Sikhs have integrated well into the UK, and can be seen attending the Unite the Kingdom marches.

This horrific murder was carried out by someone that Sikh leaders had already highligted to the police … another “known to the authorities”.

More so that Muslims, Sikhs have decalred their own outrage and pain at this murder.

In general, Sikh doctrine is notably less hostile toward other religions than many pre-modern religious traditions. The central Sikh scriptures and teachings emphasize devotion to one God, honest living, equality of humanity, and respect for people regardless of religious background.

This is not a religion, or a community, that has built-in animosity twards others they way Islam has.

So, there is no reason at all to attribute the acts of the murderr to any aspect of the Sikh religion or community.

There is, or course, the question of whether Sikhs should be allowed to carry the Kirpan, the ceramonial dagger. But, had it already been banned there was nothing preventing this murder happening.

Two-Tier Policing

Despite denials by many politicials, there can now be little doubt that two-tier policing has contributed to murders.

The Southport killer was “know to the authorities”.

In the case of Nowak’s murder, the police response is clear to see – they were more concenred with believing Nowak’s accusers and murderer, than chcking Nowak’s claim that he had been stabbed and could not breath.

And how can we be sure it was two-tier policing and not just the bad judgement of one copper? Because the policy told them how to react.
